Isn't UTC the required time over the airwaves anyway?

That's sorta what I meant. Your large computer monitor.
Just don't spill yer cuppa if it gets exciting!

You still eat it, knowing what you know.

No extra noise from increased traffic near your house. Or will it move traffic away from your current abode?
Are we taking bets on when that fresh tarmac will be dug up for repairs.

Shelved for the time being. Now yer retired yer'll have more time on yer hands.
Down the scout hut tonight, and celebrating yer return.

I can hear the traffic from the motorway about a mile away, Mrs M cannot..
Its got high grassy banks as well.
not loud but it is there (with the bedroom windows open),
no doubt, aye, but the advantage outdoes anything else.
There is a roundabout as the two fields between houses is being built on, it shouldn't affect us much.
If and when I get back out on't back, it makes life easier.
Mrs M was in traffic at the Cross for 15 mins the other day, one thing that is known to stretch further back than the new road entrance at peak times...it was first proposed 1973. Times we use it just now are off peak, there are other ways in and out.
It wouldn't have been my route in.

It's going to be scorcher today....

UTC is the standard.
I still cannot get used to that hour in BST time being subtracted, I'm looking the program I am using just now and it's one hour behind.

You've no extra traffic close to yer house as a result of it opening then.
They've to build in sound damping features for existing houses, where possible. Not too certain about houses that may be built.
Why'd you want to go out on yer back?
It's only a little over 50 years don't rush them. The other ways easier use, more convenient for you.

At 19.9°C it's currently less than 1°C warmer than yesterday.

Just set up a seperate timezone in your house. All clocks set to UTC. It'll confuse some, but make it easier for you.

The houses will be built 400 odd yards from me so no great deal, be a bit of a barrier between the new road and me, it's slightly lower than here.
The new road is a boon if heading E which is done a lot.
26.8c here just now, beating down in the sun trap that is the back garden.
No breeze..
the WX station programme has a Wind Rose measurement which how far the wee cups travel as the spin round, .5 of a Kilometre so far today so no air movement. Next rain event could be Wednesday...........
I could see a hosepipe ban at some point...
do businesses get exemptions for that?

It is a separate time zone..
it's called the '70s

Got some decking cleaner so could be ideal time....

I hate this weather...

It'll act as a noise barrier at least. What about obscuring any view you have that way.
You've gotta go west sometime!
Warmer there than here, at this moment in time. By about 4C. Slight traffic induced breeze, being funnelled by the buildings.
Dry week forecast for here with rain next Friday night.
There'll be screams for one after nearly two weeks of dry weather.
They do, which is unfair. But you liqudated last week, so you'll not be included.

Why not?

Put yer back into it, elbow grease applied first.

Wait until it rains again

Farm to the east of me, farms to the west of me. Not much in front, or behind though.
Scout hut not that close then?
If it were setting in the east, there'd be something wrong.
I've to go upstairs to catch the sunset.

If yer gonna be doing yer rain dance, make certain you've got all the steps in the correct order.
Ye might have to get used to them, there's a few more days due this year.

Freddie and The Dreamers, what were you watching. Do you know?
"Corporation Pop", still drinkable?
