True - and I'm guessing he'll end up in punditry or similar. What's evident from that, and his podcast, is his intelligent awareness of what's going on in a bunch of riders. Which, imo, is what makes a good road captain.

I was reading that and thinking nah....I mean for this instance Ineos have been pretty good with Tom,he's rode what he wanted to, to a certain extent...MTB,Cycle- cross,one day races and road.One of the most exciting riders around....I'm not sure I believe it,more of a rumour for me
Here's hoping he doesn't go anyway.
