They can't be far off fledging. I don't know how many are in there but they are making one almighty racket by our bedroom window.

[edit] Fledged at lunchtime. At least four chicks, possibly seven.

Morning walk along a local wetland nature reserve alongside the Kennet, and was surprised to see a couple of parrots on a close by tree.
One was squawking a lot, and then another nearby one could be heard. Not sure how rare this is - sorry, no pics.

The bloody vermin are spreading everywhere. They are in Saltram in Plymouth and have been seen in a village 3 miles from me.
 
When I think of vermin, things like rats, pigeons etc come to mind. Is it really fair to say parrots are vermin? What a treat it was to see these two wonderful parrots on my morning walk, not for a moment did I think of them as vermin. Each to their own I guess.
