23.5" or 60cm Early 80's Sun Solo 10 speed racer £120 ono

I am not sure of the exact date of this bike but would say somewhere in the late 70's to early 80's.

The bike is totally original with the exception of having a pair of brand new aluminium wheel, tyres and freewheel. The saddle has also been replaced with a modern looking one!

The specification is as follows;
23.5 inch or 60cm frame
27" wheels (new complete with new tyres)
Weinman 730 brakes
Weinman duel pull brakes levers
Sachs Huret front and rear deraileurs
5 speed rear freewheel (new)
52/42 Crank.
Needs rim tape.

I am located in Maidenhead Berkshire if you want to pick the bike up and am very close to the Furze Platt train station to the North of the town. The bike is in a ride away condition. As far as postage goes, I really don't know how much or even how to post a complete bike so any advice welcomed.

This is a really nice original bike but does have little bits of surface rust here and there along with scratches and signs of general wear and tear. It even has the sticker of the bike shop who originally sold it!

This did make me smile, I had a different Sun Solo as a kid. Then a few years ago, the neighbour was chucking out his bike (exactly the same as this one). After various guises, I am currently running it fixed/single speed. Not much original on it now though. GLWS
