Likely pressure on the ulnar nerve, also known as cyclist palsy, Google can provide insight. Good bike set up, good posture, not gripping too tight, ergo grips or good padded bar tape depending on bike type, changing hand position, good padded mitts can help

There are plenty of threads on this is you use the search function, e.g. If you put numb in the search box

^^^ A tad expensive compared to say, better bar tape/ergon grips dependent on the bike type.

@whybrowr no doubt it is mentioned in the numerous threads linked but make sure all your contact points with the bike are right : saddle, pedals and bars are all interdependent and e.g. adjusting saddle angle or fore/aft position could assist your hands. You could also work on your body core strength to support your weight in your torso more than leaning on the bars.

Actually it's more likely to be pressure on the median nerve which is fairly superficial at the heel of the hand and gets leaned on when you grip handlebars. Padding, position and lift your hands off the bars occasionally (one at a time) and wiggle it about to relieve the pressure.
