Probably a tad late for this years clutch, but put them up anyway, that'll give them some time to 'weather' in for next years breeding season, allow your garden birds to get used to the new additions to your garden.
I remember as a kid, getting twigs and stuff and carefully crafting a small nest which I would leave in a tree in the garden. I would then put the more realistic colours of cadbury's mini eggs in it and announce that a bird had laid eggs in our garden. And I was actually believed! A bit of a childish thing for me to do, but then I was a child at the time!
