Don't forget, if you want a cafe, that coast house,long up for sale/auction, 500 yards north of Creswell got converted into one.

Thanks - Anne told us it had reopened.

Useful info because Creswell Ices pretty much only does what it says on the tin - ice cream, sweets and pop.

Although we did get a cup of instant coffee.

The Drift Inn - it's looked busy the couple of times I've past.

I can remember when it used to be a cafe. Then the owners - obviously not making money - had a long wrangle with the council about permission to turn it into a private house. And now it's a cafe again

Lovely cafe and lovely people too. Always busy but we like to cycle down just as it opens for breakfast, nice and quiet then
