I'm inclined to agree with his view on peddlers, but would have thought they inconvenience pedestrians rather more than they do chauffeurs:whistle:.

What's peddling got to do with this? Or is it drug peddling?

Cyclists are pedallers, I think.

I've just read it; it seems like a pretty balanced view. I gave up riding with a club because the rudeness and aggression shown by a few members towards drivers embarrassed me. Too many cyclists are suffering that malaise of the miserable and resentful; they know their rights but somehow they forget the responsibilities that come with those rights.

Quite an interesting website actually; well-written in good English (pedlling apart) with a couple of links to other articles he's written. To someone who sometimes gets to host large African and middle-eastern families in Manchester, a lot of that rings very true indeed.

Some cyclists in London are indeed a danger to themselves and other road users, but his article is rubbish.

Can't be much of a chauffeur going by his vehicle,

So can anyone explain to me how a cyclist can leave a deep gouge in the paintwork down one side of my people carrier, be fully aware that he’s done it, ignore the shouts of the driver and simply ride off into the sunset?

Not exactly a Limo then.

Ex-military personal security specialist, licensed close protection operative and trained protection chauffeur. Extensive experience as both driver and bodyguard for senior executives, high net worth individuals and celebrities.

I guess it was while a cackling cyclist was carving his minivan/limousine up that Andy's close protection training kicked in and he sat there motionless.
