Anyone a member of a curry club ?

Reason I ask is that I just read a reference to one and realised I don't actually know what they are or how they work.......so just wondering.

Our office used to have a curry club. There was a dress code involving a club tie featuring a farting elephant.

No curry club, but supper and a freezer topping up exercise.
Knock out some naan too I think.
Did belong to a curry club once. Seemed to be a front for a group of blokes going for a curry and drinking more beer than might be necessary.
