Anyone got 3 Mobile Internet on their PC?

The connection is dreadful, I'm getting 400kbps against an advertised UP TO 3.6mbps.

How can it be speeded up, anyone know please?

Have you set it to 3G in the settings or Auto......my FIL had his on GPRS which was very slow......

I have 3 as a backup. It is quite cheap, but a bit of a trip down 56k modem lane. I think the 3.6mb/s bandwidth is shared between you and other users on that cell site.

Depends where you live, how close to a mast you are, how many people are accessing the same mast, and more. At home I get about 0.9mb/s. At work I get about 1.4mb/s. When I visit my sister I'm down to around 200-300kb/s. Still, that's about twice as good as what's offered by T-Mobile.
