Auto-route cycling routes?

Is there such a website that will auto-route a cycling route from a set of parameters? It would be nice to have an auto-routing website that will route a cycling route to match parameters such as elevation gain and distance. I think it would be great for training.

Select Plot > Make me a route (bottom right on dropdown menu). The routes can be a bit and miss though.

Cyclestreets will do it (and the routes are usually fairly good - I'd tweak a couple of the local ones, but the site's alternatives aren't awful).

Google Maps now does bike directions too (never used it).
