Ipswich does have some hills, and Suffolk come to think of it, Norfolk is more flat (my opinion).

Ipswich being in a 'valley' there is only one easy way out via bike...

For as long as we've lived in our house (13 years) I've been sure mail has been going missing. A few days ago I saw some post come through the letterbox and disappear down a gap in the floorboards. So I investigated:

There was a pile of mail about a 40cm deep! Sadly the bottom 38cm of the pile had turned to mulch. So now we know, and now I've fixed the gap!

Crap aren't they! Half the reason I've taken the sides off is that if the wee one moved a muscle in the night the entire bed would make a sound like a truck full of china crashing though the wall of a balsa wood model trombone factory.

That takes me back! My Action Man had hip failure when the elastic holding the legs on perished (probably due to swimming in the bath), and Mum replaced it with knicker elastic! She could never get it as tight though, so he couldn't stand up after that.
