Best Garmin for Touring in Italy & France?

I'm off to Italy in 2 weeks time and only have a Garmin 510 which is ideal for normal commuting/training over here but you can't put a map on it which I would require over there.
Can anyone give me advice on the higher grade Garmin's, such as Edge Touring, Touring Plus , 800 or 1000 please?
I'm not the most technical , but I just want to tap in the hotel destination (about 100 miles per day) and be told where to go (makes a change from my wife telling me!!).

The Garmin Edge Touring Plus has UK & Europe maps pre-loaded onto a Garmin Cycle Map microSD card according to the BikeRadar review.

I have the standard Edge Touring which apparently also has European mapping, but I've never looked to see how much detail it provides.

i'll be using my Touring next week for a ride from Geneva to home. If it works, I'll be able to tell you about it. If it doesn't, then I'll be lost in France..
