Bottom bracket and chain set upgrade

Looking at doing a BB and chain set upgrade to my commuter workhorse bike.

Now two things here:

- Thinking of getting a stages power meter down the road for my carbon bike which has ultegra. I presume that all shimano cranksets use the same interface for the left crank to the spindle, can someone confirm? I may want to swap it around and run it on my workhorse bike every now and then, no point going down my planned route of 105 if it won't work.

- Currently have an FSA Omega crankset and an FSA external BB. If I put 105, what BB can I use? I believe the FSA External BB use the same threading and sizes as the Shimano Hollowtech external BBs but wouldn't say no to a second opinion.

I know Hope BBs are compatible with 105/Ultegra cranksets. If the threading is the same (Hope might list compatibility on their site) the Hope is one of the best BBs around for the money. Only Chris Kings are better for ruggedness and longevity. The Hope just pips it above the Ultegra BB imo too.

Can you tell I've tried a lot of BBs, LOL..!?
