I always forget which pad material I want. I usually, no, always buy Shimano as I think they have a good balance between low noise and good performance.

Until this thread, I thought there were only three types: metallic, resin, mixture (cinterred?). But now I'm definitely not buying anything but Shimano!

I've gone ceramic as they promised to be quieter

So the good news is they arrived, I'd ordered the right pads and I've managed to fit them to replace the rusty looking ones that were in there.
The bad news is I thought (pair) meant a set for front and back. Doh!
Another pair on the way for the back...
Will try out over the weekend.

Well they work very well, with a decent "feel" (I fitted the front to start with) and don't squeal (so far) and within a ride the pistons have adjusted themselves properly as there was a very very minor "tsk tsk" when I first fitted, that I couldn't adjust / recentre out, which has now stopped. ^_^

Awaiting delivery of the pair for the rear.
