Gerry Attrick
Lincolnshire Mountain Rescue Consultant
The Attricks have been cycling in North Norfolk for a few days, and thoroughly enjoyable it was. However, one event requires reporting to the assembled throng hereon most honourable forum.
A visit to Titchwell nature reserve was required and threading our way between the continual lines of cages carrying twitchers along with their great yard long camera lenses and seemingly enormous binoculars, edging cautiously into the car park area holding hundreds (yes really) of cars, I overheard the no doubt deliberately loud comment of a middle-aged female to her partner, "bikes really shouldn't be allowed here, they will frighten the birds."
For once words failed me!
