As the dark evening commutes are almost upon us and with it the bad weather, I'm considering going back to my old pedals/cage and more winter style boots.

What does everyone else do?

Same setup all year round for me, save for overshoes when its really cold and wet. I actually don`t like cycling in anything other than clipped in, feels all wrong.

Having spent two days last week driving around during the day in my van, socks and shoes under the foot blower to dry them out, I shall be getting overshoes asap

It will be nice to keep them a little warmer on the really cold days as I struggle a little with cold hands and feet during the winter - there's not a lot of meat on those areas for me! I spent the summer scoffing at the thought that my cycling shoes were ventilated.. that lasted until the first morning I went out at 2 degrees Celsius. I found out just how well ventilated they really were that morning!
