Cycling misses out

I see the postage stamps to celebrate the 2012 Olympics have been revealed. So, remind me again, what sport is Britain particularly successful in at Olympic level? Oh yes, that would be cycling, wouldn't it. You know, that one where we got a shedload of medals at Beijing, in both paralympics and 'ordinary' olympics. So is cycling mentioned on any of the stamps? That'll be a 'no' It would be nice if the next lot of stamps issued as regards the Olympics does include cycling.

Maybe the set will become a collectors item due to this error. Like when they print the queen's head upside-down or whatever. I could be wrong, I'm not a phalatilist phalaterlist(sp?)

There's two more series of stamps to be launched in 2010 and 2012. Cycling might well feature in either of them.

No, not really! That would be treason. It was the rest of the stamp that was upside-down.
