Cycling shoes

Hi guys, new to cycling having just purchased a Cannondale Caadx 105. I'm using a pair of trail shoes to ride on both road and canals just now and looking for a pair of decent cycling shoes. I can't afford to do the whole change of pedals and clips just now as I've spent a bit on clothing. Does anyone have a cheap pair I could use with my standard pedals that came with the bike just now that could still be used to walk around in, I'm not worried about anything with a few marks and some wear and tear, just a cheap first pair that are not damaged to get me started ? I'm a UK size 8.5 which I guess is around a 43.

If you don't have any luck on here look out for Aldi and Lidl's cycling gear sales. They usually have shoes and they are very good.

Another vote for Aldi here or Sports Direct do the Muddy fox range
