Seems a bit excessive just to shoot down one Pheasant, gives the dog some talking practice though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've got them here too as pretty much all Indians are letting them off for Diwali - 3 in the morning does seem antisocial though!

Our local authority must have clamped down this year as I have yet to hear one bang or see one starry sprinkle as a result of a firework. Normally, it's like the opening skirmishes of the battle of Ypres.

I live near a posh hotel and they let fireworks off 4 - 5 times a week just before 10 PM
