First outing for the folder

I have tried to buy a decently priced Dahon for ages, they were either too expensive for me or all, 200 miles away, in London. Recently, I was browsing Ebay when an unused D7 came up, £150 BIN, I didn't hang around!

First real trip was full day out around Amsterdam, lovely.

I have a love-hate relationship with my 2nd-hand Dahon D7. It does the job great but I can't stand the colour! I did the (shorter) SW Tour Ride on it last year.

I'll probably eventually get the frame re-painted then love it properly.

Mine is the black and grey model and I very much like the colour scheme. I was sick of flying in bikes for trips, it's a lot of hassle, I enjoyed riding the folder but I'm not sure if it is for me, I'll give it a few summer trips before deciding it's fate.

Someone at work (not sure who yet) has just started riding in on a brand new Dahon D7HG Vitesse (with 7-speed Nexus hub gears). It looks lovely (in black with black stem and handlebars too).
