The pics are frustratingly un-clear, it looks carltonesque around the seat stays... But I don't recognise the cut out lugs. Benelux 5spd & Williams chainset so it must have some age to it....

Frame number under bottom bracket ME139RPC ?? Also the number 84 91 on top of seat tube ....these numbers or positions bear no resemblance to my other Dawes which is on the rear dropout.....

They do look very similar ...the frame number is throwing it tho, its been suggested that the number under the bb could just be a postcode security mark although it looks well stamped in

Elswick Lincoln imp has been suggested & the fork crown & front lugs do look similar but the serial numbers just don't match...

Looks like Viking also used these lugs and apparently their 'Tour of Britain' model also had a solely numeric serial number sequence of up to 4 numbers... Any Viking experts on here?
