Per mile traveled in Westminster cycling is as safe, or dangerous, as walking. Consider an elected representative who claimed that anyone who walks in London is "taking their life in their hands".

Anyway places like Parliament Square are hazardous for all transport - including legs - there's that Arc de Triomphe mentality that takes over at that point where everyone makes a suicide run round the square or across to take pictures of the palace!

She might be as I don't know London at all. Let alone West Minister, there is a roundabout in Coventry I would say what she has said about it. But I am diffinately not anti cyclists.
