Go on, admit, who is both a 4x4 owner and a cyclist ?

Here's the rub. Drivers don't hate cyclists for the law breaking. That's just a justification for their ire which is easier to admit than their entitled and selfish attitude.

If every cyclist followed every law we'd still be the people slowing them down on their roads. They'll even make up laws we're breaking to continue to justify it (must use cycle lane, must ride single file etc etc)
Your point is why I disagree with segregation.

Integration, along with sustained re-education on both parts is the key to success

We will always be breaking laws, if not real ones then made up ones.
I really don't think so.

Sure, right now that feels very true but just look at how social engineering can work...seatbelts, drink driving, smoking all totally acceptable behaviours a generation or two ago.

I hope...and as I've said before, hope is a good word, that in generations to come the UK will have lost much of the conflict that exists between road users and as education continues, those "rules" that you mention, will start to become socially unacceptable.

The other option is to just give in, accept it, become entrenched, fill ourselves with thoughts of conflict and begin to share the hate.

I watched it, whilst not liking the 'pimp-mobile' L405 (the present shape Rangie), I do know how good it is

I'd very happily settle for the (Bahama Gold) 1972 model he was driving, not this one, but very similar
And, yes, that wheel-travel was one of the reasons it was so good

First time I have heard the Aussie comment

" If you want to go out in bush take a Landrover if you want to come back take a Landcruiser"

Made me smile.

A CSK edition Series I Range Rooney for me please.
A nice one would suit me too!!

Huddersfield Land Rover Centre had a nice one in, a while ago

This '25th' would be nice too, even better (to me) as a manual-box, with a Tdi

My old 90CSW-V8 was good, but not this good
