We got the eldest some Shimano Saints for his Fat Bike, they seem a nice piece of kit.

Superstar components currently have 25% off their Nano x I believe. Excellent , light, bling, come with buckets of spare pins. Use code NN25 valid until 30 Oct. Can't recommend them highly enough, and at that price.....

The superstar nano are good if you can find them in stock.

I've tried saints*, nano but have ended up with RaceFace Chester flats. Grip and feel are absolutely fantastic, they are a plastic composite but don't let that put you off. The others got battered when I've hit rocks, these still look perfect and they alway clean up like new. The bearings are replaceable but again, are like new.

* had lots of bearing issues with these on 3 bikes, forever dismantling and adjusting!

as mentioned in the other thread, the studded style are very grippy.

you can pick up Welgo flat pedals for about £16, or DMRs for around £26... the only real difference is a tenner

*other colours are available.
