"CALLOUS THIEVES have taken thousands of pounds worth of bikes from a social enterprise in Sowerby Bridge which helps homeless people.

The team at Happy Days Cycles on Town Hall Street has been left reeling by the the theft of between 20 and 30 bikes which were in storage, ready to sell on."

Horrible t###ts, to be honest I’d put it down to their limited value in scrap , which wouldn’t buy much more than a fix or a carton of beer and fags,
I collected bikes for a charity , I put a wanted post on the local freecycle site , I got one very good mountain bike and a lot of cheap bikes , I didn’t get them to the charity in the end because I lost the use of the van I had , but I gave them all away to needy persons,
I’m sure the local community will dig in and help them ,
