Has anyone ever recovered their stolen cycle

Although there is a section for Stolen Bikes why is there not one that hails the return of it;If you are lucky.

Probably because so few are ever found again.
I still miss my stolen Brompton M6R - one of the last ones before the BWR hub came out.

I am aware that bikes of all types are stolen around the country and moved around and well out of their district/town/City,
Is organised thievery still going on and where do the hubs appear to be?.

Organised theft is alive and well, especially in London. I was on a CC ride where two bikes went - the locks were cropped through. The stolen bikes can end up at Brick Lane market, Cash Converters, Ebay and Gumtree, to name a few.
