I am hoping someone can help. I have a Stout crank on my Specialized Sport Crosstrail Hybrid (from around 2015 I think?) and want to take it off to then put on e-bike conversion kit.
So I managed to remove the 8mm Allan key screw (I have no idea what any of the components are called specifically, so bear with me), but then I discover a square hole next inside the arms. I suspect I need another special tool to insert here to then remove the arms and the rest of the crank hub? Or can I just hammer it off?
