hey bit new to the forum and all that
well another rainy day down here so i was just surfing the net and put in my
father-in-laws name and this forum came up
unfortunatly i never got to see him as he passed away before i meet his daughter (now my wife )
well im on about Dave Bedwell
when i showed my wife what i was looking at she went and got out some photos and paper clipings etc
otherwise known as the ironman , pocket rocket etc
well i knew he was good but never looked on the web
wow is all i can say up to 1000 miles a week training ! does this sort of training still go on ??
unfortunatly he died training at the age of 70 , doing 70 miles a day he died with his feet still in the pedals on dartmoor
well i know thats nothing about myself
i just think this guy was a legend thanks for reading
