Hi to eveyeryone from a 51 newbie!

Hello Everyone
Just wanted to say hello. I have arrived here late as I will be 52 in July!
I have been commuting to work for the last few years on my Boardman Comp Hybrid, have really enjoyed it. It is 8 miles each way.
I now want to go further and have been riding 30 miles plus on a regular basis and have signed up for the Evans Liphook Sportive in Aug.
I am now on the hunt for a new bike, sportive type, Giant Defy 1 2016 Disc is top of the list. Unless someone can send other suggestions my way!!
So hopefully this will make my rides more fun and a bit quicker on the road and up those hills!

Hello johnny. I have a giant defy 1 pre disc.
I bought a btwin triban for
winter/commutes, kitted it with mudguards, wear a rucksack that weighs a stone for work and still beat strava times made on my giant.


Keep focused on that "enjoyment" side
