I used to love my Burner BMX (the one with the plastic three spoke rims) had that until I got my first MTB at 14. I was sad to see it go when I bent the frame.

Raleigh have done deals with local bike shops where they pay a substantial part of the cost of refitting the shop, advertising and signage. You may have seen their handiwork under the 'Cycle Life' banner. The catch? The shop is only allowed to sell Raleigh bikes!

Or rather, they can sell other bikes but not ones that directly compete with a Raleigh equivalent. I don't think it's a good idea. As I said to the owner of my local shop, if I'm looking for a bike I want more choice than take it or leave it. However, when I asked him six-months later how it was working out he said 'quite well' so just shows you.
