how do i set a profile pic ?

Sorry if this is so simple but I can't seem to do it do I need to do it on a computer or should I be able to on my phone ?

oh I'm on a laptop but you click your user name (top right of the screen) and a box comes up with lots of choices.. choose avatar and upload it there.

not sure on a phone though soz.

Not sure about doing it from a mobile, but from the computer click on your name and a drop down box will appear.
Choose Avatar and it will ask you to upload a photo/image.

Similar method. Your choice of picture will come from those on the handset.

Not sure about uploading the pic from a mobile either but @ScotiaLass has it right on the way of doing it from a computer. You can also do it by opening your profile page or personal details page and clicking on where the picture should be.

That's the minimum recommended size. As far as I'm aware you can use any photo that the site can handle.
