He sold me an owl, yes I know it is an endangered species.

Furthermore, the man in question is a Mason.

The clue was in the "Mason", it was an owl made from stone. He lives on a busy main road, so I told to park briefly by the Pub, and the Stone Mason would wave at me, so I would know where his driveway was.

The owl is now in my garden, keeping a close eye on things.
