It appears I need a new chainring
I cannot see Shimano M number as such on the ring
The crankset is FC M552/542 triple 10 speed

It's a 42T with 4 bolts on a BCD of 105mm

I cannot find it on shimanos documents either

Thanks all

More wheels than sense
I'm pretty sure the BCD should be 104mm

The M series indicates it's a Mountain bike groupset - the part number is FC-M552 which is the chainset. You *should* be able to use any 104BCD shimano part.

SJS Cycles tend to have the best selection - but you could also give Spa Cycles a ring as they'll know exactly what part you need and should also have it in stock.
