The road from the end of Glen Lyon at Loch Lyon Dam up and over to Glen Lochay was interesting. It is the worst road I've surface ever seen, and my hands were hurting from braking on the descent.

Yeah, I remember it being bad road even on a mountain bike. Lovely scenery but rather surprised the route went that way instead of via the Lochan na Lairige road.

There was an info control point at the foot of the climb across the bridge from the dam. Going the Lochan na Lairige road to Killin would have made it under 300km.

@Louch remember you told me about the guy in the team sky kit on the pinarello bike that passed you? well he passed me yesterday when i was out walking the dogs, he was coming up by Alloa sheriff court..Haven't a clue who he is but i almost shouted at him that he was a walloper..
