I stumbled across some competitive MTB on the telly the other day. The French seem to be strong in that. Or maybe I'm wrong. It was entertainingly bonkers.

There must be great pressure from sponsors and public alike for French riders to have their chance to shine in the TdF, and they seem to have settled for odd stage wins for their visits to the podium and moments of glory, occasionally scrapping amongst themselves for the day's victory. There is less pressure to build one big team and work together, which would be how I suspect the French could reestablish dominance with their crop of young, promising riders.

How nice. There is a lovely little village I have visited for the last 3 years and would like to move somewhere close to there too. Only one one minor problem - sourcing employment! But seeing I do not have work here either, what's the difference?!
