We need stricter and clearer guidelines for testing, and a formal process of proof.

Much of the slander and innuendo that passes fro evidence in drug testing is unacceptable at all never mind with such a serious penalty.


What we need is a transparent, verifiable system that not only stands up to scrutiny but is substantiated by legal process. Then applied to all sports, not just to cycling.

I agree with the premise of a life ban that is negotiated downwards for naming names regimes etc, but as cunobelin says, the testing has got to get up to scratch first in order for their to be no legal challenges.

Just what 'beans' are you supposed to 'spill'. If someone who is not involved in cycling sells a rider some dope, which in most cases as far as I can see, is only medical treatments for members of the public who are ill, what can you legally do to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
