Hello all!
Discovered this forum the other day, its a fantastic resource so I decided to join. Long time casual cyclist who's gotten more serious since moving to London. Have done the London Brighton cycle this year and clocked up 1100km or so in the past 3 months with work commuting (N16 to SW7) and some longer weekend jaunts.
Ride an Eastway RC4.0 that I LOVE, not much experience with road bikes but its a massive improvement for my commuter cycling over the cube mountain bike I was on (and will sell eventually).
Have had one bike stolen in London kind of twice, a specialised globe (which I also loved). Someone stole both my wheels from outside my friends house, I lugged the frame home and someone else stole the frame the following night. Sad sad times.
Planning my first cycle tour in September, cant decide between the camino del santiago, going from brussels to Germany through copenhagen or from edinburgh down the east coast back to London. Researching what type of touring cyclist I want to be found this forum
