Any idea how to underclock it? I have an eee 1000 whose only function is email, web and Sun Office, so I couldn't care less about processor speed. Does about 5 hours real-life usage on the battery, and more would be nice.

My lowest-spec PC is a ZX81 with a whole kilobyte of RAM.

I have a Mac Classic, (can't remember the spec), no hard drive. I have a program that comes on four floppy discs that I have to keep changing over, much fun!

I also used to have an Apple Lisa, but I swapped it for the Classic.

Mac: Mac Plus, not-quite-8MHz, 4MB* RAM, 800kB floppy, no hard disk.
PC: 4.77MHz 8088, 512kB RAM, 360kB 5 1/4" floppy, no hard disk.

Lowest spec computer in my collection is a ZX80.

*I could of course down grade it to its original 1MB.

Stored in my parents' loft is my old Compaq 8086. It runs at something like 7MHz and uses a big 5.25" floppy disk. I think it used DOS v2 (maybe 3). My one had a cool green screen and I gave away an identical computer with an amber screen to a friend who works in grid computing. For a piss-take, he hooked it up using a serial link (via another computer) and used it to ssh/telnet into one of the most powerful computers in the world at Argonne Labs, Chicago. So next time someone asks you why you keep all that 'useless' junk, do what I do and tell them that story.
