Spoke to the claims department of TFL today about making a claim for my third buckled wheel in 6 months on my fixie. There has been loads of road works taking place on my cycle route this past year or so, and the state of some of the 'repairs' afterwards look as if a land mine has been laid instead of a cycle lane. My latest mishap was caused by a very steep kerb that prior to the resurfacing was a dropped kerb - hence the buckled wheel. Feels a bit odd though making a claim against my bosses.
