Yesterday my wonderful fiancee decided we were going camping for the night, being completely unprepared at this point we had some shopping to do.
A trip to Halfords got us a Topeak Super Tourist DX for her bike, and some Halfords panniers. The panniers were utter crap but that's a different matter.
The issue was that the rack had no mounting gubbins, at all. Luckily the bloke behind the counter was kind enough to rip off the mounting gubbins from one of their own brand racks for us, and knocked a fiver off the price of the rack. However the mounting stays are too short so the rack slopes forwards horrendously.
So does anyone have any longer stays that we could have at a reasonable cost? If needs be I can get the tape measure out tomorrow when it's light again.
