Loving this.......picked it up Thursday night and took it for a quick 10 miles yesterday just to run through the gears and give it a bit of a blast on some hills, flats and a nice descent. I have to say for an aluminium frame it's rather light at 9kg. 105 pretty much all round with Mavics budget cpx22 wheel set......maybe upgrade those next year !
It performed great, picks up speed a lot quicker than my giant defy and handles like a dream. Climbs really well even though I didn't need to get onto the 32t cog on the cassette. The fastest I had previously managed on the descent that leads to my house was 51mph. I somehow managed to hit 53.9mph. So pleased with it and just confirms that a carbon bike isn't necessary for me at the moment.
Highly recommend this bike and the guys at Tredz in Cross Hands (west wales) did an amazing job building it
