Hello all

Been perusing this forum for a couple of weeks and thought I will dive in eventually!

I'm a late twenties, new to the game cyclist. Used to cycle everywhere as a kid, but magically stopped when I learnt to drive! Signed up for a London to Cambridge bike ride in 2015, used that to justify buying a road bike and making myself commute! Just about to upgrade bike on the C2W scheme to something a bit nicer....

Plenty of information i'll be looking for over the next few weeks, including:

advice on turbos
advice on upgraded wheels
Bike maintenance courses

I'm sure there will be many more in addition to that!

It did indeed happen, only about 2 months after buying the bike. It was a nice ride of 60 miles, but torrential rain from abuot half way through. Took 4 hours, held back a bit as one of the team was a bit slower. Would have been interesting to see how quickly I could have done it!
