Komoot set for Bike Touring ignores NCN away from Aberdeen apart from a section near Portlethan where it follows the route in the opposite direction, then takes the footway alongside the A92 leaving it before Stonehaven and joining NCN1 afterwards. It further variates either side of Montrose and Arbroath, and once over the Tay and across towards the Forth.
