Noob needs help with outlook express please

When I recieve emails that include a link to a web site I can no longer just hit the link and have it take me to the webpage, I have to copy and paste the link into google to get there. This is not good and is most annoying. How can i set OE so I can just hit the link and get there, hence make my life better?
