North Leicester meet up ride (Shackerstone)

Me @tallliman and @Joobert have roughly planned to meet up on Sat June 25th for a meet up and ride . No real plans yet ? Anyone else interested ?

I had an idea to ride out to Shackerstone station and possible arrange to meet some of the south Derbyshire crew @Lilliburlero etc. Will that be to far for @Joobert .I am quite flexible with the date so could be any weekend

Yeah, it'd be good to meet @Lilliburlero too, the cafe looks good at Shackerstone from pics.

Affraid I'm tied to the 25th June as have a sportive to do the following day, so 50 miles max for me!
Looks about 25 miles to Shackerstone from mine so could ride out, have a bite to eat then back on my tod if you guys wish to go further.

@tallliman Could meet near yours and ride as far as Shackerstone if you want?

I work every other Saturday and I`m in on the 25th of June . The 26th would be fine or the Saturday before or the Saturday after the 25th.

I'm busy the surrounding weekends qnd the sunday. Lets sort the day and a destination, the route can then follow.

Having said that, as you two are Sileby and Anstey, so starting down that way seems sensible.

I`m in Overseal on the A444, wedged between Swadlincote and Measham.

Let's set the date for The 25th and the route we can decided later if @Lilliburlero can make it then Shackerstone it is . If not we will stay around Charnwood as that's pan flat to keep @Supersuperleeds happy. couple of hours ride with a coffee stop somewhere . Looked forward to it .
If @Lilliburlero can't make it I will sort out another date later in the summer

Hi Dave I was thinking about you as I know you ride out that way every now and then . If we don't do Shackerstone this time I will try to rearrange later in the year .
