Nice one.... are those brake levers correct for period? They look odd to me, but then I've only restored more recent bikes

Looks great! What amazes me still is that a bike that old looks so modern. It probably shouldn't surprise me as bicycles evolved to a very high standard long before that. But it does still surprise me :laugh:

Enjoy the bike, I hope you get a big thrill when you take it out :biggrin:

Nice sunny days in the Summer bonk man, I've got a really nice Raleigh Royal for the usual ride. All the pre 1960 bikes will be for high days and holidays around the Malvern Hills.

By the way, all the parts are the originals (with some replated), except the stem. A long story, but basically the head tube is new (Done by Mercian), but now needs a slot adding to take the original steel stem, which is held by the clamp above the upper bearing. It will get done, probably the first time I have to strip down and service it again. The one that's on now is the right age, but not the right type.
