I did that in November. Looking at the GPS data, my bike was flung some distance, whilst I cartwheeled !

Luckily I was on foot, so a smaller target. I'd have had no chance on a bike.

Was that how your big off happened?

According to The Argus, the man is in custody, held on suspicion of dangerous driving causing serious injury, attempting to pervert the course of justice, and aggravated vehicle taking.

Sounds like a nice chap.
