Photo taken on ride shows as being from somewhere I wasn't - Strava.

Not the end of the world but it's playing with my OCD all the same.

On my last ride I took a few photos & all bar 1 show as being in the right spot where I took them. This has never happened before. One photo is showing up in Strava as having been taken in a nearby town that I've actually never been to with my bike.

The ride was recorded on my Wahoo Roam & I took photos with my Galaxy S10 (which wasn't connected to Strava at the time) - this is all as I've done in the past too with no trouble.

I'm assuming it just had a bit of a GPS meltdown for a short while. Question is how to get the photo showing where it's supposed to be showing from?

Search for EXIF Editor in the Play Store. It will let you amend the file data by dragging the location on a map.

Edit to add a link.

Is there anything PC-based that'll do the job by any chance? I prefer working on a PC where possible for anything that sounds like it's going to get fiddly.

If not then no problem, I'll have a play with that link, thanks.

Uh-oh. Your bike has been cloned. You didn't post a picture of it somewhere did you?^_^
If only my bike was desirable enough to be cloned

On PC I use GeoSetter (https://geosetter.de/en/main-en) to change the lat/long when my photos are tagged in the wrong place. It does about 7 gazillion other things as well, so can be a little hard to navigate through all the options at first, but you quickly get used to it.

EDIT - As a side note, when I'm out on a ride and pull my phone out to take a photo, I usually take multiple, as I find the first one is usually the one with the screwed up GPS co-ordinates, while the second and subsequent are more likely to be tagged in the right place.
