Any recommendations for a city centre hotel that is handy for Queen's Hall and train station.

Reasonably cheap Ibis/travelodge would be ideal.

There is a new one right at the bridges, the ibis I think, 5 minute walk from the station and just along the road from the Queens hall.

There's an EasyJet hotel on Princes Street, one of those unmanned reception jobbies - not used it but it's there. Hundreds of hotels in the city centre, might get a good deal just now, Christmas/Festival time forget it.

Quick look shows there are 3 Travel lodges in city centre, all walking distance for your needs.

What about the big Tune Hotel just over the road from Haymarket station? It's on the number 31 bus route that goes straight to the Queen's hall.
